Marketing & Application Manager

Your role
As a Marketing & Application Manager, your mission is to [briefly describe the main mission]. You will report to Leybold CC GM in China.
You will
-
Leadership
o To effectively manage the team of Marketing&Application Engineers,Marketing Communication Specialist and SHEQ function , ensuring excellence in technical support delivery and developing marketing plans and initiatives aligned with the GM’s guidelines to enhance the Leybold brand.
o Provide coaching, guidance, and motivation to develop talents and overall team maturity. And Foster teamwork, accountability, and high engagement across the organization.
Application Support and Product Training
o To provide an excellent technical support and training to customers, distributors and sales personnel.
o To conduct technical investigations to resolve customer technical issues and provide timely support.
o To plan, organize and deliver professional technical training programs.
o Support campaigns and activities that drive visibility, customer awareness, and lead generation.
o To liaise with the product division to obtain technical information and provide feedback, so as to drive product improvements.
o To monitor product performance and initiate necessary design modifications as appropriate.
Develop and Implement Sales & Marketing Strategies
o To collect and analyze data related to the macroeconomy, market dynamics, competitors and customer needs, so as to support market development and sales strategy formulation, and recommend target markets for new application research.
o To investigate competitors’ trends and marketing activities, and formulate corresponding competitive tactical plans.
o Coordinates and support the sales team for a territory, defined geographic area, or marketing segment,providing support for development of new application for our accounts.
o Align initiatives with business unit objectives, ensuring long-term competitiveness and growth. Marketing Communication
o Strengthen customer relationships, Leybold’s brand power and market promotion through on line and off line development possibilities
o Interact with the divisions and AC product companies in a profound, productive and unselfish way that supports the development and the consolidated result and performance of the division and the entire business area
SHEQ
o Monitor SHEQ function and ensure compliance to Atlas Copco Group, Vacuum Technique Business Area (VTBA), Customer Centre requirements and external standards governing Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ)
o To verify and process warranty claims for the product division.
o To update, review and distribute the latest warranty agreements and Terms & Conditions (T&Cs).
Other Tasko To undertake and complete ad-hoc projects as required.
o To perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager.

Education level
o Master degree
o Major in Vacuum Engineering or Physics is preferred
Relevant previous experience
o At least 10 years working experiences in sales, service or business development within industrial or vacuum-related industries.
o Experiences on dry pumps, roots pumps, turbo pumps and diffusion pumps are preferred
o At least 5 years in a leadership with team-coaching capacity, showing ability to develop people and manage cross-functional responsibilities.
Knowledge areas
o Solid technical understanding of vacuum products and applications.
o Strong marketing knowledge, including profitability management.
o Leadership and people development skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
o Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience in product training
Other requirements
o Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
o Highly developped problem solving and project magament skills
o Strong planning, execution, and organizational skills.
o Willing to travel frequently

Job location
This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Shanghai, Suzhou, Tianjin, Beijing, China (CN). You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
