Application Engineer
Your role
As a Application Engineer, your mission is to offer professional application supporting and market development for Industrial market for China. Support Edwards IV China gets quick growing up and shows continuity.
You will
Provide technical support for Industrial sales team
- Interpret customer process conditions and enquiry specifications, including pump sizing, selection, and proposed system design.
- Joint visits to customers to assess application needs, and to present competitive solutions
- Deliver technical presentations and seminars to customers, particularly on details of product improvements in design, technology, and safety to meet application needs.
- Basic product support including trouble shooting, training, new product support, etc.
- Other related support to meet the area business target.
Lead the application as the vacuum expert
- Built the mature application database, including installation base, process analysis, vacuum solution, trouble shooting, competitor, etc.
- Application analysis, including market trend, technical needs, key customer analysis, market strategy, product or system solution, etc.
- Collaborate with sale team to manage the mature application development plan, process, and target.
- Provide related support such as application tests, training, speech and other professional communications.

- Preferably educated to bachelor’s degree level in a chemical engineering discipline, although this is not essential if good vacuum background is proven.
- Minimum of 3 years years working experience in application support roles in engineering ideally with a high technology company
- Deep understanding of providing esffctive solutions for customer through process study.
- Proven track record in technical application support 3+ years
- Basic vacuum knowledge and General vacuum applications awareness
- Influencing, communication, presentation and negotiating skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to quickly understand various industrial manufacturing processes and the vacuum requirements
- Focus on Team Success, good interpersonal skill
- Sel-motivated with exellent learning ability
- Excellent verbal and written English/Chinese required
