Application Engineer
Your role
As a Application Engineer, your mission is to support business growth in process industry in technical way, including chemical, power, pharmaceutical etc. Core value is to understand customer’s pain point and provide long-term effective vacuum solution.. You will report to [add Hiring Manager title].
You will
Identify customer’s real demand:
- Interpret customer’s requirement through inquiry document
- Drill down the actual demand by proactive communication
Provide effective technical proposals:
- Optimize the product type and size with accurate calculation
- Complete the customized system design both meeting customer need while cost-effective
Ensure vacuum solution fulfillment:
- Working with PC to provide valid quotation
- Closely follow the project execution, pre-warning if any unplanned trouble, aiming to on-time delivery
- Support successful customer’s PC inspection
Feedback for improvement:
- Provide on-site issues and support quality / product team for optimization.
- Suggest higher efficiency tips for workflow

- 3 years working experience in process industry, background in chemical industry / chemical equipment / vacuum is preferred. Master degree is not must but can be a plus.
- Skills in professional software (e.g. Aspen) can be great plus.
- Basic project management skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Curious mindset and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
- Able to demonstrate good organizational, time management and personal management skills - Self-reliance and ability to take initiative.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
