- Lead product quality improvement initiatives and resolve customer complaints systematically.
Key Account Project Delivery & Quality Control
- Coordinate technical specifications for vacuum component selection and procurement, support supplier technical evaluations, and collaborate with Quality and Procurement teams for incoming inspection.
- Develop vacuum test protocols (helium leak detection, RGA, ultimate pressure and pumping speed curves), analyze anomalies, and propose corrective actions.
Team Building & Management
- Recruit, develop, and lead a team of vacuum engineers and technicians; establish technical upskilling plans.
- Allocate tasks covering design, testing, and on-site support; monitor project progress and quality deliverables.
Customer & Field Support
- Support sales and solution teams in pre-sales technical discussions, assessing customer requirements (e.g., base pressure, pressure rise rate, allowable hydrocarbon contamination level).
To succeed, you will need
We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.
- Master’s degree or higher in Vacuum Technology, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields. Ph.D. preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in scientific vacuum system development or operation, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership/management role.
- Proficient in vacuum calculations (conductance, pumping speed, outgassing rate estimation, pressure distribution).
- Skilled in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, Catia, Inventor) and vacuum simulation tools (Molflow+, COMSOL Vacuum Module).
- Deep knowledge of helium leak detection (spray, sniffer, vacuum mode) and RGA spectral analysis.
- Basic knowledge of vacuum safety interlocks and control logic.
- Strong technical documentation and report writing skills (English and Chinese).
- Ability to lead rapid team response to field failures (leaks, pump issues, etc.).
- Cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, electrical, process, and procurement teams.
- ________________________________________
- Preferred Add-Ons
- Hands-on experience building and debugging UHV systems (<1e-10 mbar).
- Familiarity with EPICS, LabVIEW, or PLC-based vacuum control integration.
- Knowledge of quantitative RGA analysis or vacuum metrology/calibration.
In return, we offer
- Culture of trust and accountability
- Lifelong learning and career growth
- Innovation powered by people
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits
- Health and well-being
