The role

Business Plan Development 

  • Support development  and tracking of Service Technologies Center China (STC China) strategy together with senior management
  • Lead analytical support and full financial modelling of corporate plan including revenue, cost, and cashflow and balance sheet for business requiring close collaboration with commercial and operations teams, local finance team, service BLMs, and STC General Manager and STC China team.  Position will support China Service Technologies Center business analysis with strategy development, execution and monitoring across a complex range of customers, application sectors, products and will form the basis to assess the overhead and capital needs in the STC China.

Project Support

  • Support the STC China Business case preparation and complex modelling for investment appraisal.
  • Support Operations function with investment appraisal support for new factory selection, understanding tax issues and incentives available.

Operating analysis and financial management:

  • Producing weekly, monthly inventory, labour recovery reporting globally for reman centres, vacuum service centres and field service engineers
    • Weekly labour report, variances report
    • Monthly end close including settlement of service orders, on-site contract review, variances and overhead cost review
  • Work with service finance managers and unit controllers to deliver robust reporting, work with key service business managers providing performance visibility and drive for improvement actions

Commercial Analysis & Support

  • Provide analytical support to China Controller for revenue, margin and overheads. 
  • Month end data analysis – complete service BU reviews and provide commentary
  • Forecasting / budgeting – Service BU sales and margins
  • Manages the provision of Service Sales and Contribution reporting
  • QAR process management – Service QAR approvals and follow up reporting
  • Margin analysis including exception reporting and review
  • Support forecasting and budget process
  • Control consignment stock reporting and provisions

Internal control

  • Perform service procedure internal control by setting up regular sample check and monthly analysis process;
  • Work with business control to investigate potential internal control risk area and propose internal control remedy actions;
  • Follow up internal control improvement actions.

 

Skills and experience

  • University, majority in Finance and accounting, auditing, master’s degress is preferred
  • 8+ years financial analysis, factory business analysis experience and auditing experience are preferred
  • Excellent skills in excel, BPC, Power BI, SAP, Presentation
  • Excellent English level, logic thinking, willing to help each otherand sharing
