Your role

As a Business Controller, your mission is to lead the financial processes for the new start-up company through collaboration with the senior leadership team with management in controlling business risks and responding to business opportunities. You will report to Generral Manager.

You will

Financial Control and Reporting (70%)

  • Key strategic partner to the GM and to the management team enabling strategic decision making aligned with the new start-up company’s growth goals.
  • Own all financial responsibility for all functions of the company and the alignment of Business Area reporting.
  • Drive and identify financial improvements and business opportunities by analysis of current performance and identifying gaps.
  • Ensure functional compliance with financial requirements through training and knowledge transfer. Keep up to date with current changes in financial regulations & company governance.
  • General financial advisory such as investment proposals, involvement / leadership of projects on finance related matters. Drive and complete the integration and synergy projects when required.
  • Lead annual target setting and rolling forecast updates for P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Capital Expenditure. 

Operations and Indirect Purchasing (20%)

  • Establish and seek the opportunity to improve operation standards, work closely with cross-function team to develop relevant analysis to drive sales and operation performance excellence. 
  • Develop and execute purchasing strategies, manage and improve indirect procurement processes.

Office Administration (10%)

  • Manage and renew administrative procedures and policies to support company branding, culture and development.

  • Bachelor‘s degree or above in Accounting/ Auditing/ International Financial, etc.
  • Minimum of 10 years in financial reporting, forecasting and analysis
  • Knowledge of project management process / follow up from a financial perspective
  • Prior experience of managing the financial aspects of a transformation program would be beneficial
  • Strategic mindset to see the bigger picture and deliver the overall goals of the organization
  • 5 years of operation experience is a plus
  • Possession of business and financial acumen to command respect within VTBA and externally
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Skills of problem evaluation and solution
  • Fluent English, both in oral and written
  • Domestic and international travelling is required
