As Business Line Manager for Portable Air - APE in Mainland China, your mission is to champion Atlas Copco’s core values—Interaction, Commitment, and Innovation—by fostering a customer-centric culture that consistently delivers value and care, driving operational excellence and sustainable growth. You will lead with integrity and transparency, promote open communication and inclusiveness, and collaborate constructively across divisions and teams to maximize synergies and shared success. What You’ll Do:
•    Own the business: Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility for the APE business in Mainland China.
•    Unlock synergies: Mobilize PT Mainland China resources (product management, technical support, administration) to capture shared value and speed. 
•    Accelerate digitalization: Lead local digital initiatives and actively support global projects to improve responsiveness and insight driven decisions. 
•    Strengthen cross border business: Follow Business Area guidelines to serve customers optimally while protecting Group interests. 
•    Build a talented team: Drive training, competence development, and a visible pipeline for high potential talent (“People Care”), with clear objectives and regular follow up. 
•    Protect our assets: Keep tight control of stock and receivables; anticipate future developments and act early.
•    Deliver results aligned with objectives agreed with the GM and Divisional guidelines across the defined territory. 
•    Lead Sales & Marketing for APE Mainland China; collaborate closely with the Management Team to prioritize opportunities and execute with pace. 
•    Bring our Code of Conduct and “The Way We Do Things” to life, using real business scenarios to encourage open discussion and ethical decision-making. These sessions will help teams translate our values into daily actions, fostering a culture of transparency, fairness, and respect throughout the organization.

To succeed, you will need

Experience:

  • Strong leadership experience and skills, with a track record of developing high-performer teams.
  • Proven commercial acumen in sales & marketing management. 
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities.

Knowledge and Education:

  • University degree in mechanical engineering or related field. 
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong presentation/communication skills.

Personality Requirements:

  • People centric leadership, proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate teams to new achievements.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; self‑motivated, hands‑on, and results‑oriented. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills; able to cooperate and communicate effectively at all levels.

Job Location: Shanghai, China

Willing to travel frequently.
