
The Role
- · To provide day to day manufacturing support to fastener production operations.
- · Review/analyze production processes and make recommendations for improvement actions.
- · To support and oversee the OEE improvement activities.
- · Undertake process improvement activities, monitor improvements and report on their success.
- · Document manufacturing operation instructions and provide relevant training as required.
- · Assist with new manufacturing process design.
- · Assist with the investigation and resolution of product and process concerns.
- · Support update of drawings through change request process.
- · Ensure that all new manufacturing processes/process improvements are verified in accordance with IATF16949 requirements.
- · Utilize data analysis/monitoring to support problem solving activities.
- · Assist in the APQP process for new product development.
- · To support supplier development with aim of improving tooling quality and optimization.
- · Provide breakdown support for production and maintenance.
- · To promote safe working practices.
- --Carrying out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Company.

What we expect of you?
Education / Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment.
- Good technical education and a good practical skill base.
- Experience of working with CAD is desirable.
- Must hold or be willing to work towards a degree in a relevant engineering qualification.

- Methodical approach with good attention to detail when planning and carrying out tasks.
