M&A Manager

Mission:
The mission for this position is to lead M&A activities, search opportunities related to industries, segments and/or potential target companies that fit Atlas Copco acquisition strategy, promote the full implementation of the project from pipeline building up to sign.
The job holder takes full ownership of the M&A process of target company per the way we do things.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assessing M&A project feasibility, and driving the full process implementation of the project from negotiation to signing.
- Lead the M&A project team formation and be responsible for the allocation of human and financial resources. Coordinate cross-departmental resources, including finance, legal, business teams, etc., to ensure the project is completed on time.
- Use and engage internal and external functional expertise to support Pre-DD and DD process.
- Identify potential legal, financial and other risks that may arise during the M&A process and formulate emergency response plans.
- Form DD report and valuation module, and prepare the solution proposal to resolve the risk.
- During the negotiation process, need to formulate the transaction structure, due diligence plan, and participate in the contract signing, and ensure that the transaction terms are in line with the company's interests.
- Ensure that the project complies with local legal requirement and the way do things
- Formulate a project schedule and dynamically adjust the construction pace through weekly meetings, structured reporting.
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Education level
- The successful candidate holds a master degree or similar through experience.
- Relevant Previous experience (minimum years of experience to competently carry out the role, not total year of experience)
- Experienced professional (8+ years) with proven senior experience in vacuum business.
- At least 5 years experience in leading teams
- A proven track record in sales and marketing, and result delivery is necessary.
- Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)
- Knowledge in cross functions - Operation, Sales & Marketing and Finance, etc.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent command of English and Mandarin Chinese in both writing and speaking.
