Your Role

As the Mechanical Engineering Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in steering a high-performing team responsible for delivering innovative mechanical engineering solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. You will ensure that every project your team undertakes is executed with the highest standards of safety, reliability, manufacturability, and cost efficiency. Your leadership will encompass technical guidance, resource management, and fostering continuous improvement within the team to maintain excellence.

Your responsibilities include acting as the technical authority on complex projects, interpreting customer requirements into detailed mechanical designs, and ensuring robust system architecture. You will lead design risk assessments and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with departments including Controls, Electrical, Quality, and Production to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

A key part of your role will be to mentor and develop engineering team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and innovation. You will be instrumental in translating corporate strategy and emerging technology trends into actionable engineering priorities, thus driving sustainable value for both customers and the company.

In addition, you will oversee supplier and outsourced engineering activities by setting clear technical expectations and ensuring delivery meets stringent quality, cost, and schedule criteria. Your proactive support during manufacturing, testing, installation, and customer commissioning phases will be critical in ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.

Proven leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills in English, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions are essential.
