The Role

As a Business Line Manager, your mission is to lead and drive the sales and marketing activities of our organization, ensuring that we meet our sales revenue and product management profit and loss targets. You will be accountable to develop and execute strategies that enhance our market presence and drive profitability across various channels. You will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for our OFA business line.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Profit & Loss of Liutech OFA business line in China
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies in alignment with Liutech China OFA long-term and short-term business target, promote Liutech OFA product and reinforce target market share and profitability
  • Preparation and achievement of business line sales budget in China
  • Prioritize customers and market sectors for sales focus in agreement with the business line globally and the customer center’s general manager
  • Handle major sales and negotiations for Liutech OFA business line in China
  • Focus on developing all relevant sales channels, direct and indirect sales, always considering the mix of products best suited for the local market with a strong focus on overall market share, profitability and cost efficiency targets of the business line
  • Work closely together with other Business Line Managers to achieve Liutech ambitious targets
  • Monitor the development of a defined set of KPIs and scorecards, resulting in corrective/preventive actions (i.e., profitability, growth, forecasting, territory action plans, CRM, etc.)
  • Stay up to date on market intelligence (incl. price levels). Price every product in line with the marketing plan and market potential against current market levels with the objective to give all products the best chance in the market
  • Attend business line review meetings, participate and provide updates at regular meetings with relevant regional salesforce team as well as division and business area management as required
  • Provide focus, guidance and support to sales managers and their team to motivate them in the development, growth, and implementation of agreed strategies for the division
  • Management of the applications, product and market sector management function in terms of delivering a differentiated technology and solutions strategy
  • Ensure optimum behavior and performance of the business line within China acting as first point of escalation of business resolution issues
  • Grow and develop talents within the business line
  • Safeguard a safe and healthy working environmen
  • High travel frequency >50%

What we expect of you? 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree, major in Sales Marketing, Engineering, Mechanical, etc. 
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant industries, compressor is preferred
  • Over 8 years’ experience in sales and marketing function, channel/direct sales/indirect sales management experience, over 5 years’ experience managing a team size over 15 people, exceptional leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team towards success.
  • Excellent team building experience, strong capability of managing the sales team, and good at coordinating the sales team, exceptional leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team towards success.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market data into actionable strategies, experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies
  • Strong logical thinking, good presentation skill, fluent English
  • A passion for continuous learning and adapting in an evolving industry landscape.
