OFA Business Line Manager

The Role

Mission:

• Reporting to the General Manager of Atlas Copco CT CC, this position has overall responsibility to achieve sustainable profitable growth with high focus on market share and consolidated profitability for Oil Free Air Division in the China market.
• Empower and grow the people in line with our corporate values, guidelines and policies laid down in “The Way We Do Things”.

Job Description:

• Interact with the Division marketing to develop and implement business marketing plans, provide feedback on market trends, competition development and deliver very ambitious growth, efficiency and profit targets for OFA business in the China market.
• Ensure planning and implementation of sales & marketing activities to meet the NIS, consolidated profit, working capital, functional cost efficiency as well as customer satisfaction targets. Review business development strategies on a regular basis and recommend modifications and enhancements that will secure sales goals in line with growth targets.
• Make good use of HR tools in our box to lead, develop and motivate sales and marketing team. Specially identify, support and follow up talented persons to build up big talent pools.
• Interact with other divisions such as CTS, IAT etc. in a constructive, productive and unselfish way to synergy for overall business growth together.
• Cooperate with product companies closely on quality issues, forecast and stock management in a prompt, regular and accurate way for optimum production planning, prompt quality and efficiency improvement.
• Promote and support implementation of the SHEQ Policy.

What we expect of you? 

Experience requirement

• At least 10 years’ management and leadership experience.
• Strong business and commercial sense with the numerical ability for rational business decision.
• Previous experience in compressor sales and/or marketing with a track record of reaching targets and goals would be a plus.
• A clear strategic vision and implementation ability to achieve results from action plans derived from a solid marketing and sales management experience.

 
 Knowledge

• High proficiency in Chinese and English language.
• Marketing and sales.
• Good computer skills.
• Digitalization and big data awareness would be a plus.

 
Educational requirements

• Graduate from University with a minimum of bachelor degree with major in Business, Mechanical /Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Additional information

Due to size of the China territory, the position will require a very positive attitude towards high frequent travelling.
