Product Specialist

Your role

As a Product Specialist,  You will report to Senior Application Manager.

You will

• Work closely with account sales/application engineers to generate/execute quick CIP upgrade to achieve more market and revenue.  Includes executing SIA NPI or ETO initiatives as laid out by Division Product Management and Application, provide supports on customizing product technical presentations for case by case, and recommend the right product and upgrade kits for applications by process and recommend setup for better reliability and performance as part of solution value proposition.
• Collect VOC and propose SIA new product/CIP projects for market share and revenue improvements. Work out Market analysis of competitive intelligence information for product differentiation strategy.
• Be part of the Product Management peer group. Work closely with SIA Division Product Management and Mar Comm to ensure availability and readiness of materials such as generic presentation materials, market share, installation database, product capability, product limitation, product variants, performance specifications, instruction manual, maintenance requirements, consumables requirements, information on other beta-site or L&E trials, issues, etc.
• Champion Edwards SIA product by defending and promoting product technology and its integrity. Convince customers to implement Edwards solutions in field process and applications related issues.
• Coordinate SIA new product Evaluation to ensure successful qualification and enhance product reliability. Will involve co-ordinating activities with account team, application and customer, defining experimental parameters and data acquisition, managing project reviews, and providing input towards product modification and improvement of new standard product.

• Master or Degree in a Science or Engineering discipline. 
• A minimum of 1 year experience in the semiconductor industry, with sound knowledge and experience of Edwards products.
• Proven ability in Sales or sales support role with experience in managing product knowledge and technical information and to organise, write and present effective Applications Specific material.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills to build sound relationship with Division Product Management and customers.
• Strong presentation and influencing skills, both verbal and written.
• Maintains intellectual property awareness.
• Ability to work under pressure, provide support to sales and customers.

Job location

On-Site
