Your Role

• Work with both internal and external customers, sales, supply chain, service, integrators, and end users
• Understand contractual deliverables, in content and contractual obligations as they relate to assigned projects.
• Monitor and react to key performance indicators and anticipate issues prior to escalation.
• Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the customer's processes and organizational structure.
• Coordinate projects, develop action plans, communications, resources and scheduling to complete tasks on time.
• Enable the proper technical support and proper product selection for all of our products and how best to interface to customer applications.
• Support customer technical reviews, buyoffs as requested by the customer.
• After completing conditions for installation on customer site, arrange and coordinate with Service for system installation and start up
• Manage customer expectations by providing on-site interface for customer.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by the Company.
• Analyse/Summarize project status and give suggestions to optimize the current Project Management process
• Establish and live a sustainable relationship with the customer.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Educat           

• Proven experience of Project Management in a manufacturing environment
• Desirable experience from Line builder of Body in White, or car body Joining
• Good knowledge in mechanic, pneumatic or automation
• Ability to understand customer processes in a very short time.
• High customer focus
• High commitment and readiness for action

Language

• English - good command of reading, writing and speaking

• IT literate with experience of business systems
• Good written communication and interpersonal skills
• Keen to learn new things quickly and have an interest in career development and training within the workplace

Today the IAS product range consists of Dispense, Self-Piece Rivet, Flow Drill and Vision system. Working in close cooperation with the Business line ADH / SPR and other Sales, the IAS Project Manager will be technical point of contact with the customer to ensure project RFQ’s are specified correctly and quoted, delivered and commissioned in line with the customer’s needs.

Working for a dedicated group of OEM customers, the IAS Project Manager should also act as the customer contact to all relevant IAS Product Companies (PC’s) to deliver premium joining systems that improve the end user’s manufacturing process and ultimately leads to a satisfied & loyal customer.
