Your role

Team Development:

  • Make a highly efficient and performing team through identifying and developing core competence in each position.
  • Coaching and guiding the team member follow the way we do things and Business Code of Practice in daily business.
  • Guiding and supporting individual accomplish the KPI.
  • Strong support to “People Care”, i.e. follow-up talented persons with a good potential to grow.

 

Procedure Development:

  • Believe in and promote the sprite of “there is always better way”.
  • Continuously improving the sourcing control procedure according to business, environment changes and company new strategy.
  • Monitoring and controlling the entire Purchase-to-Pay process in COF.

 

Supplier Development:

  • Work with all related stakeholders, develop the suitable suppliers to support the company/division new market application.
  • Using the SAP, BW and other platforms to monitor supplier performance, manage the recovery of quality defects or LD caused by suppliers.
  • Work closely with SQA team to improve supplier performance of efficiency and quality.
  • Work closely with marketing, engineering and quality, develop new suppliers for the new product application and core localization.

 

Total Cost of Ownership:

  • Work closely with application team, project team, cost controller and supplier quality assurance, etc. together achieve the material Pre-post target.
  • Ensure supplier on time delivery by closely following up the order status and regular material expediting.
  • Think out of the box, challenge the traditional working process and find a way to achieve the cost reduction target.
  • Work closely with warehouse material planner to build up an efficient inventory in COF factory and suppliers’ factory.

 

Working Capital:

  • Optimizing the payment terms by negotiating with suppliers according to COF payment policy.
  • Managing and controlling the supplier commitment/inventory according to the project real status.

 

Synergy with division:

  • Support GAP division sourcing activities in China, such as new supplier development, supplier on time delivery, price negotiation and on time delivery.
  • Benchmarking with the other GAP entities.
  • Other assignments from Supply Chain Manager.

To succeed, you will need

  • Candidate must be highly motivated, able to multi-task, set priorities and goal oriented. ability to work in cross-functional.
  • Bachelor degree of engineering or commerce.
  • Strong negotiation skills in procurement area. strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in sourcing position, 1 or 2 years sourcing managerial experiences is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the SAP R/3, office 365, B/W tools.
  • Language: English fluent in spoken and writing.
