Your Role

1. Team Leadership & Performance Management

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of process sales to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Set individual KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and support career development plans

2. Sales Strategy & Implementation

  • Define and implement strategic sales development plan for process industrial sectors.
  • Prioritize key accounts and projects, set pricing framework and allocate sales resources effectively.

3. Distributors & Stakeholders Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, continue develop new distributors.
  • Manage distributors and sales engineers performance.
  • Support sales engineers in complex or value-added deals, including contract negotiations.

4. Markets & Competitors Analysis

  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs and competitor activities
  • Identify growth and development opportunities adapting to markets accordingly.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Coordinate with MSMs, PMs, Application, systems and service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular sales forecast, opportunities pipeline and strategic insights to senior leadership.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Educational requirements

  • Bachelor/Master degree in Mechanical, chemical, process engineering or related
  • MBA is preferred

Experience requirements

  • 10+ years in technical sales roles for industrial equipment (pumps/compressors/valves).
  • 5+ years in sales management role
  • Equipment sales team management experience to process industries
  • Familiar with main process customers in China, such as chemical, oil&gas, pharmaceutical and power generation.

Knowledge

  • Proven track record and deep understanding in Chinese process markets
  • Strong people management and team coaching abilities
  • Strategic thinking combined with sales and development execution
  • Solid negotiation and project management capabilities
  • Excellent command of English in both writing and speaking, other languages advantageous
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and presentation skill
  • Fluency in process industry workflows (e.g., P&ID interpretation, HAZOP awareness).
  • Problem solving mindset with attention to details.
