The Role

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Perform machines assemble and modification, debug and test run according to required spécifications, Drawings and Works instructions.
• Accomplish manual rework and mechanical modification with tools and debug of mechanical components.
• Pneumatic assembly of air logic and air cylinders including debug of pneumatic circuitry
• Electrical assembly and wiring of controller systems.
• In charge of ICA project works at workshop and customer’s side. Include installation, debugging, root-cause-analysis and technical reports.
• Support repair and troubleshooting requests from customer or service.
• Works closely with different departments providing feedback and recommending changes to improve design, operation or quality of test, assembly, tooling and processes.
• Strictly follow the safety procedures and work instructions, be directly responsible for personal safety in workplace.  Correctly wear Personal Protective Equipment. Actively participate safety training, self-learning and other activities. Report safety risks to prevent accident.
• Provide trainings to project related person from customer side and Field Service Engineer.
• Review meeting with customer to summarize the machine situation and follow up before departure.
• Other tasks assigned by Team Leader

What you can expect from us? 

1. As Installation and Test Engineer for the Innovation Center in Asia, you will be part of our Asian Hub within the Global Projects organisation. We have the responsibility to design & manufacture Screw Feeding systems.

2. You have the responsibility in this role to ensure the products delivery meets the targets of lead time, cost, and quality.  And also, be responsible for standard product delivery to division with standard cost, lead time, and within quality.

3. Problem-solving will take up a great part of your daily work. You will have opportunities to learn, to share & to work in close collaboration with R&D, Purchasing, Quality, and Project team.

What we expect of you? 

Education & Experience

• Major in mechanical and electrical engineering, with a college degree or above
• Possess 5 years or more of experience in assembly work related to mechanical and electrical equipment (Priority screw feeder or automation industry)
• Ability and experience in identifying, analyzing, and solving complex problems.
• Independent experience leading in-house integration and on-site customer installation work

Knowledge & Skills

• Possess a valid low-voltage electrician operator certificate.
• Familiarity with local government electrical regulations.
• Possess basic mechanical drawings recognition skill.
• Able to understand electrical drawing, control logic diagram, and according to the control diagram to write PLC program and debugging, error correction.
• Ability to use assembly and measurement tools for incoming inspection and assembly.
• Strong ability to assess security risks.
• Proficient in office software operations
• Proficiency in daily English speaking
