Sourcing Engineer

Your Role

Major responsibilities:

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Procurement Execution​​:
• Develop procurement plans for stamping parts.
• Follow up on order deliveries to ensure timely fulfillment of production demands.
2. ​​Supplier Management​​:
• Source, evaluate, and screen high-quality stamping parts suppliers.
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive supplier evaluation system, assessing technical capabilities, production processes, quality control, delivery performance, cost efficiency, etc.
• Optimize cooperative relationships to ensure supply quality and operational efficiency.
3. ​​Process Collaboration​​:
• Leverage stamping process expertise to participate in product design reviews during new product development.
• Collaborate with R&D and Quality Control departments to recommend suppliers and ensure stamping parts meet design specifications and quality standards.
4. ​​Cost Control and Optimization​​:
• Analyze stamping part costs and negotiate pricing to achieve cost-saving objectives.
• Monitor market price trends and industry dynamics to support informed procurement decisions.
5. ​​Risk Management​​:
• Identify risks in stamping parts procurement (e.g., supplier capacity shortages, raw material price fluctuations, quality issues).
• Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize operational disruptions.
• Establish a risk early-warning mechanism to monitor critical risk factors and implement proactive solutions.

 
To succeed, you will need  

Education

• University degree or above.

Experience

• The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years as Sourcing Engineer Or similar job，2+ years of stamping parts procurement experience, with proven supplier sourcing and management skills.

• Experience of working in a factory or industrial environment is preferred.

Skills

• In-depth knowledge of stamping part manufacturing processes and quality standards.
• Proficiency in cost analysis, price negotiation, and contract management.
• Competency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Language

• Good Communication: English spoken & written & oral at all levels
