National Sales Manager, Specialty Rental China

Atlas Copco Specialty Rental China is looking for an ambitious and dynamic National Sales Manager to further grow the specialty rental business and lead the sales team in China Mainland. In this position, you will report to the General Manager North-East Asia and will become part of a young, international and dynamic team which is expanding every year.

Atlas Copco Specialty Rental serves customers in various industry segments with Short & Long Term rental solutions for compressed air, nitrogen, steam and power rental solutions. Our key customer segments are Oil&Gas, Power plants, Air separation, Automotive, Electronics, Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Pharma, Renewable Energy, etc ..and we focus on applications which require high quality oil-free air technology, Professional expertise & Operational excellence.

Mission

Drive sustainable and profitable growth for the Atlas Copco Specialty Rental business in China.

The job responsibilities include:

  • Define and implement the local Sales & Marketing strategy, in close cooperation with business development and supported by marketing, including; market analysis, Full potential assessment, target market selection, fleet/product mix, communication/marketing actions and pricing
  • Territory Management: define and manage direct sales territories and indirect sales channels to increase market coverage
  • Pro-actively lead and coach the sales team to reach their sales targets and increase market and customer share in the target segments in their territories
  • Be actively involved in major tenders, contracts and key-account development
  • Develop synergies and maintain a good internal cooperation with other divisions in Atlas Copco
  • End-to-end sales responsibility from lead generation to collection, including quotations, T&C’s, contracts, invoicing, collection and associated operational aspects
  • Work hand in hand with the operations department to ensure professional execution of rental projects, ensure customer satisfaction and a smooth order-to-cash process
  • Make sure sales tools are used effectively and identify needs for new/ improved sales tools and  competence development
  • Collaborate and share best practice with the whole North East Asia Sales & Marketing team
  • Pro-active Sales Management: make sure R-PSM (CRM system and pro-active sales management methodology) is used for lead entry and qualification, recording of customer and prospect information, efficient planning and pro-active follow-up of sales activities and opportunities
  • Monitor and report upon competitor activities on a regular basis
  • Comply with Business Code Of Practice

To succeed, you will need

Experience requirements

  • A solid experience in sales of industrial equipment (preferably oil-free compressors) and/or related services : aftermarket, rental….
  • Experience in people management.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of compressors and compressed air applications (preferably oil-free)
  • Good IT skills.
  • Fluently in Chinese and English
  • Driver license.

- Willing to travel extensively in China

Educational requirements

Technical or Commercial University Degree or similar via experience.
