HR Manager
Your role
Main Responsibilities
1. Strategic HR Leadership & Post-Merger Integration (PMI)
Develop and execute a comprehensive HR integration roadmap, aligning Kyungwon’s local policies and practices with Atlas Copco Group’s global standards and values.
Translate business strategy into tangible HR priorities and action plans to support the post-acquisition transformation.
Ensure full compliance with Korean labor law and Atlas Copco’s governance models (The Way We Do Things).
Manage the HR budget and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) reporting and forecasting.
2. Organization & Change Management
Lead key PMI workstreams, including job grading alignment, compensation & benefits harmonization, and performance management system transition.
Act as a primary change agent, proactively communicating changes and fostering employee buy-in to build a cohesive and positive organizational culture.
Provide coaching and guidance to line managers on leadership, team development, and navigating organizational change.
3. Talent Acquisition & Development
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process to attract key talent for the organization's growth.
Champion the adoption of Atlas Copco Group’s talent development frameworks, such as the Succession Planning process (AC Book) and Learning Management System (Learning Link).
Establish Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to build a strong talent pipeline.
4. Performance & Reward
Execute annual performance and reward cycles in line with Group policies, ensuring a smooth transition from legacy systems.
Guarantee the accuracy and timeliness of payroll, benefits administration, and incentive plan execution.
Manage a fair and consistent pay structure and external market competitiveness.
5. Employee Relations & Culture
Build a foundation of trust and open communication through effective employee engagement initiatives and labor-management council (노사협의회) operation.
Proactively manage employee relations, prevent/resolve disputes, and ensure a safe and inclusive work environment free from harassment.
Promote the Group's values, diversity & inclusion, and safety-first culture (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality - SHEQ).
6. HR Operations & Systems
Lead the transition and stabilization of HR information systems to Atlas Copco’s platforms (e.g., HR Link).
Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all employee data, records, and contracts.
Promote HR digitalization and leverage data analytics to provide business insights.
To succeed, you will need
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
- Education:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong background as an HR generalist.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Demonstrable experience in post-merger HR integration or significant organizational transformation projects is highly desirable.
- Experience working in a multinational company environment is a strong plus.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of Korean labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong change management and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Business fluency in both Korean and English is required.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and data analytics.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Job location
This position is based in Siheung, Korea, Republic of, within a production company environment dedicated to excellence in procurement and supply chain operations for the industrial air sector.
