GM Assistant & Communication Manager

General Manager Assistant and Communications Manager to join Kyungwon Machinery Co., Ltd. in Siheung, Korea.

Your Role
1. Mission / Purpose
To strategically and organizationally support the GM, managing internal and external communication to ensure effective delivery of corporate messages, brand reputation, and employee engagement.
This role aligns local implementation with Group and Division communication strategies.
2. Main Responsibilities
GM Assistant & Management Support
Manage GM’s calendar, meeting preparation, business trips, and reports.
Draft, review, and translate key documents and communications (Korean/English).
Prepare and coordinate internal and external communications, including government and corporate reports.
Track and follow up on GM’s action items and directives.
Internal Communication & Culture
Plan and manage quarterly Cascade Meetings and monthly Townhalls.
Develop internal content such as newsletters and employee magazines.
Organize employee engagement programs and team-building events.
Execute Insight Surveys and manage follow-up action plans.
Support D&I and well-being initiatives.
External Communication & PR)
Plan and execute employer branding and public relations initiatives.
Maintain relationships with government offices, partners, and vendors.
Coordinate external visits, plant tours, and corporate events.
Manage press releases, marketing content, and social media channels.
Coordination (Administrative & Support Coordination)
Organize company events, workshops, and employee programs.
Oversee canteen, shuttle bus, and welfare operations.
Manage communication budget, purchasing, and cost settlements.
3. To Succeed, You Will Need
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Business, Humanities, Communication, HR preferred)
Experience: 3+ years in related roles (GM Assistant, Communication, HRBP, PR, etc.)
Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal) for global communication
Technical Skills: MS Office / Teams / Canva / Social Media / Translation tools
Core Competencies: Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, teamwork
Preferred: Experience in manufacturing or global organization, event or culture program management.
Location
This position is based in Siheung, Korea, Republic of, within a production company environment dedicated to excellence in procurement and supply chain operations for the industrial air sector.
