Indirect Sourcing Engineer

Role (Indirect Sourcing Engineer)
The Indirect Sourcing Engineer is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of indirect materials and services, including MRO, facilities, logistics, IT, equipment, and outsourced services to support business operations. The role manages supplier identification and development, RFQ/RFP processes, cost analysis, price negotiations, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved while driving supplier performance, supply risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for indirect materials and services
- Identify, evaluate, qualify, and manage suppliers
- Lead RFQ/RFP activities and commercial evaluations
- Conduct negotiations and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Monitor supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost
- Manage procurement activities for logistics, facilities, IT, and MRO categories
- Assess and mitigate supply chain risks
- Improve procurement processes and ERP data management
- Build and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers
- Support ESG and sustainability requirements within the supply base
Authority
- Authority to execute sourcing activities and select suppliers within approved budgets
- Authority to negotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms with suppliers
- Authority to recommend sourcing strategies and supplier development initiatives
- Authority to initiate supplier performance improvement and corrective action plans
Requirements
1) Experience in supplier management and commercial negotiations
2) Strong understanding of procurement processes and contract management
3) Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
4)Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
5) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
6) Business-level English proficiency preferred
