Production Planner

Mission/Purpose of the Job
The Factory Planner is responsible for end-to-end production planning and control across all product lines at KyungWon.
This role oversees the development and execution of the factory production plan, ensuring a stable and efficient manufacturing flow that consistently meets customer delivery commitments.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain and optimize factory production plans to ensure reliable delivery performance, reduced backlog, and shorter lead times.
- Establish and manage production capacity and resource allocation to effectively balance customer demand, manufacturing capability, and business priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional planning activities with Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Machining, Assembly, and other stakeholders to ensure aligned and executable production schedules.
- Monitor and control production execution to maintain schedule adherence, proactively resolve bottlenecks, and minimize operational disruptions.
- Lead production planning for new product introductions (NPI) to ensure smooth ramp-up, operational readiness, and successful transition into mass production.
- Manage inventory exposure and material availability to support efficient production flow while minimizing excess inventory, costs, and waste.
- Ensure accurate and timely customer deliveries by aligning production schedules, material readiness, and factory capacity with customer requirements.
- Analyze factory planning performance and drive continuous improvement to enhance productivity, delivery performance, planning accuracy, and overall operational efficiency.

- Education level
: Degree in Engineering, Science or Business followed by exposure in a planning or manufacturing environment
- Relevant Previous experience
: More than 5 years experieces in manufacturing, supply chain feild and good understanding of Compressor technique business
- Knowledge areas/Skills (minimum level of knowledge to fullfil the role’s responsibilities)
: Good operations management knowledge and experience
: Specific knowledge of the manufacturing process and Compressor market
: Good understanding of factory planning and supply chain process
: Good understading of ERP
: Strong administrative and personal disciplines to perform complex analytical activities requiring a meticulous
: approach and accurate data entry
- Other requirements (e.g. Language skills; competencies; expected travel requirements)
: Good verbal and written communication skills in English
: Computer literate, specifically;
- Advanced Excel
- ERP system
: Inter-personal skills for internal and external in global
