Purchase sourcing Assistant Manager

This pivotal role within the Procurement department of the Industrial Air Division offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the Compressor Technique business area by managing the sourcing and procurement of critical components.
Your Role
As a Purchase Sourcing Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the stable supply and procurement of key materials essential to the production of compressors. Your main duties will include:
- Procuring critical components such as castings, pipes, and vessels by effectively placing orders and managing supply timelines.
- Overseeing lead time management to ensure timely delivery in alignment with production schedules, minimizing downtime and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Actively developing new suppliers to expand and diversify the supplier base, fostering competitive pricing and innovation.
- Monitoring and mitigating risks by identifying market and industry trends, ensuring continuity amid supply chain uncertainties.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with quality assurance, logistics, and project teams to resolve supplier quality issues and support project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure a stable and continuous supply of key materials critical to the production process.
- Lead negotiation efforts with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement aligned with company objectives.
- Maintain and deepen your understanding of cost structures, global supply chain, and logistics to optimize sourcing strategies.
- Manage supplier relationships by conducting regular performance assessments and implementing improvements where necessary.
- Utilize your project experience to support procurement initiatives that contribute to the company's operational goals.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated understanding of market and industry dynamics.
- Knowledge of cost structures and expertise in supply chain and logistics management.
