Supplier Quality Engineer

Your Role

1. Mission / Purpose

Responsible for securing and managing the quality of materials and parts delivered by suppliers, evaluating and managing quality levels, and promoting rapid cause analysis and improvement in the event of a problem.
It also leads quality-related communication between internal departments and suppliers.

2. Main Responsibilities

• Establishment and operation of quality control standards and procedures for suppliers 
• Identify causes and support improvement activities in the event of quality problems, 
• Management and performance analysis of supplier quality indicators (DPPM, PPM, etc.) 
• Conduct subcontractor process audit and basic onsite inspection
• Verify quality-related standards and in-house compliance

3. To Succeed, You Will Need

 Knowledge 

•  Basic knowledge of supplier quality control systems
•  Understanding of manufacturing processes and parts
•  Knowledge of quality standards, specifications, and compliance requirements
•  Understanding of global quality requirements and cross-cultural communication

Experience

•  Experience using standard quality documents (work standards, inspection standards, etc.)
•  Experience conducting on-site supplier process audits and inspections
•  Experience identifying and analyzing root causes of quality issues
•  Experience working with overseas suppliers or global stakeholders using English

Skills

•  Supplier quality management and continuous improvement
•  Quality level management to secure stable supply chains
•  Effective communication and coordination with internal teams and suppliers
•  Fluent communication skills in English for global supplier interaction and reporting

4. Location

This position is based in Siheung, Korea, Republic of, within a production company environment dedicated to excellence in procurement and supply chain operations for the industrial air sector.
