Finance Analyst/Senior Finance Analyst

Your role

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEA Semi Customer Centre (CC) Performance Scorecard Management

• Manage and continuously improve the performance scorecards for the SEA Semi Customer Centre across all relevant divisions, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to reflect business realities.
• Provide thorough month-end and periodic financial analyses encompassing Sales, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), Gross Margin, Operating Profit Margin, and Net Working Capital to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify and interpret significant trends, potential risks, and emerging opportunities, offering actionable insights that facilitate proactive management interventions.

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Assist the Business Controller with comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles, including rolling forecasts and strategic scenario modeling to inform long-term business strategies.
• Develop, refine, and sustain driver-based planning and forecasting models to enhance forecast precision, transparency, and alignment across the SEA region.
• Critically evaluate underlying assumptions within forecasts, highlighting both potential upside and downside risks, to enable informed and confident decision-making.

Business & Commercial Decision Support

• Act as a trusted finance business partner to Sales, Service, and Business Line leaders by providing insightful financial analysis and advice.
• Collaborate closely with Business Line Managers, Country Managers, and cross-functional leaders to support effective performance reviews and strategic decisions.
• Conduct detailed evaluations of pricing strategies, margin performance, profitability metrics, customer portfolios, and investment/business cases to underpin commercial strategies.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling recommendations focused on driving revenue growth, margin expansion, and optimized returns on investment.

Analytics, Power BI & Reporting Enablement

• Design, build, and maintain dynamic Power BI dashboards tailored to the information needs of the SEA region, facilitating data-driven insights.
• Automate routine reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and empower self-service reporting capabilities within the organization.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly business reports that combine quantitative analysis with qualitative insights to inform stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Continuous Improvement & Capability Building

• Initiate and lead continuous improvements.
• Build analytical capabilities within SEA finance community
• Perform Ad-hoc project

To succeed, you will need

• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data processing and interpretation.
• Possess a professional degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in finance, specifically within analytical roles that require independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, alongside SAP systems for financial reporting and analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial theories, principles, and systems, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively to real-world business scenarios.
• Exceptional communication skills to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
