Your future job

The Role:

  • Establish and maintain strong contacts with existing and new customers at all levels of their organisation in order to foster good working relationships and promote business opportunities 

  • Conduct customer negotiations at all levels (fab manager, manager, engineers, etc), enlist the assistance of other Edwards managers when required to win the business and thereafter maintain continuity throughout the sales and service and after care activities  

  • Participate and monitor sales forecast budget  

  • Management of Sales:

    • Make sales to agreed targets

    • Close deals,

    • Present integrated/full range of Edwards products and services,
    • Develop customer mind-set to ‘single source’ concept,
    • Manage customer expectations in line with strategic plan 
  • Identify new opportunities  

  • Report on competitive activities  

  • Create customer perception of Edwards excellence  

  • Make use of the whole organisation to create value in customers’ eyes. 

  • Establish strategic plans for penetration of new products in Semi markets. 

 

What we expect of you?

  • Degree in one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics or significant experience in the semiconductor industry 

  • Sales and negotiation skills  

  • Good commercial and technical competence in order to command customer respect 

  • High motivation to win business and high sensitivity to customer needs 

  • Knowledge of OEM process equipment and their requirements for vacuum, exhaust gas management, chemical and others technologies 

  • Experience of managing major customer accounts and negotiating with Senior fab managers  

  • High level of initiative in problem solving with the customer and post sale support within Edwards  

  • Experience of making products presentations  

  • Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure  

  • Good interpersonal skills, both on an individual and team basis 

  • Good computer skills  

  • Strong business understanding and good knowledge of competitors’ products and activities. 

  • Leadership skills.
