Warehouse Operator
Your Role
Provide adequate spares and support for DC and STC operations in line with company objectives, in particular:
- Manage day to day inbound and outbound activities in Singapore DC and STC and make sure the delivery is optimized.
- Managing and expedite the operation of spare parts in Singapore DC and STC
- Liaise with STC to provide the necessary components to expedite the repair process.
- Improve the inventory availability to reduce WIP shortage rate
- Check returns received and process through appropriate transaction to acknowledge their receipt.
- Ensure that the company’s Health and Safety policy is adhered to with the aim being to maintain a safe working environment.
- Notifies the Manager immediately of an accident or incident & implements corrective / preventative actions.
- Maintains housekeeping practices & ensures area is kept orderly and free of hazards
Your skills and experience
- Certificate with a strong background in Warehouse activities, MRP controlling process and SAP system
- Material Handling Equipment skills – Forklift and Stacker experienced
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure due to service nature of the business
- Strong administrative and personal disciplines to handle a multi-task and functions activity with a meticulous approach
- Self starter, self motivator and resourceful, able to take the initiative to resolve local issues
