• High school diploma (required); Authorization to work in the US(required).
• Associates or  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related study preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in a safety or quality role with an Industrial equipment manufacturing organization.
• Enthusiastic and positive promoter of Edwards Vacuum as a company, its employees and its objectives including all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality related programs.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver positive change.
• Some knowledge of regulations and standards affecting vacuum equipment products.
• Certification in Quality Engineering/Auditing/Improvement, Six Sigma, or Lean is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
• Willingness to keep abreast of new techniques in corporate training.

Your role

As a SHEQ Coordinator, your mission is to support the Glenwillow STC in the development of training needs, taking into consideration regulatory (Ex. OSHA), Industry (Ex. ISO) company and customer expectations. You will report directly to the Operations Manager for the site. You will:

• Organize a plan and conduct training necessary for proper onboarding of an employee to account for HR, LMS, Administrative and SHEQ induction.
• Support operations where needed to achieve and maintain ISO certifications with regards to training, quality, and calibration.
• Manage reject process, monitor and improve supplier quality.
  
• Identify and improve critical process capability to ensure long term quality stability.

Job location

This role requires you to work on-site at our facility in Solon, Ohio. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
