Spare Parts Specialist - Kinder-Janes Engineers

Your role

Kinder-Janes Engineers Ltd are the UK Customer Centre for the newly formed Atlas Copco Industrial Flow Division.  We specialise in Pumps, Compressors and Process Equipment, representing both Atlas Copco brands such as Lewa and Varisco, plus many other world leading manufacturers and are looking for a Spares Specialist to join the Aftersales Team.

You will

• Handling customer enquiries and issuing quotations.
• Processing customer orders and supply of parts.
• Raising of purchase requisitions on suppliers and the progressing of subsequent purchase orders with the supplier.
• Updating and maintaining the associated administrative systems.
• Managing and maintaining spare parts stock levels commensurate with customer and company expectations.
• Control and processing of all despatches including instruction and management of delivery/courier services.
• Maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers and promote aftersales opportunities.
• Respond promptly to all forms of incoming communication, acting on and giving out accurate information in support of excellent customer service or involving others as appropriate.
• Communicating and cooperating with colleagues across all areas of the business to support efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to a shared sense of team working and professionalism.
• Operate in accordance with and update and maintain Company administrative systems including enquiry, order and customer databases.
• Perform all duties in accordance with the requirements of the Company HS&E procedures, QMS processes and Employee Handbook.

• IT competence e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Sage / SAP.
• Industrial sales experience desirable, ideally relating to engineered products.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in St Albans, United Kingdom (GB).
