Your Role
Mission
The Customer Service/Data Entry will be responsible for providing excellent service to our OEM customers, distributors, and sales team in Canada. The main responsibilities will be receiving and directing incoming calls, order entry process, direct communication with customers and factories throughout the order cycle, but flexibility and willingness to embrace new tasks is also essential. The individual will need to be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-starter and a team player
Responsibilities:
• Receive and direct incoming phone calls
• Respond timely and professionally to customer, distributor, and sales team inquiries regarding products and availability.
• Be a primary point-of-contact between customer and nano to proactively resolve questions regarding pricing, availability, shipping, quality issues, samples, etc.
• Explain the basic features and benefits of nano and its products to customers.
• Schedule, parcel and freight shipments to customers and distributors.
• Scope of Responsibility: Ownership of order fulfilment for discrete customer orders, placing and managing vendor Purchase Orders, facilitating the entire order to invoice process.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by careful accounting of items moving in and out of inventory via picking lists, inventory transfer journals, etc.
• Responsible for accurate execution of all order fulfillment steps from picking, packaging, packing slip preparation to processing of shipping transaction.
• Utilize UPS Worldship/FEDEX and other freight vendors and business systems to prepare shipment of domestic and international orders.
• Outbound calls and customer follow-up
• Strive to understand the needs and expectations of our Customers
To succeed, you will need
Experience
2+ years of previous experience in a related role
Experience with SAP ERP system
Education: High School Diploma
Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer focused (both internal and external)
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong data entry skills
• Microsoft Office suite and PC proficiency; experience in SAP is helpful
• Active listening skills; Seek to address the customer’s unspoken need.
• High energy level, can-do attitude, and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience utilizing order processing systems, shipping systems and Microsoft Office 36
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Self-motivated
• Good planning and organizational skills and thorough follow up.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
