Parts Specialist
Your Role
BeaconMedaes is seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team. Utilizing a strong technical background in medical gas equipment, the Part Specialist's mission is to generate and maintain field level and corporate level relationships with existing customers. The ideal candidate should promote a customer focus mindset - keeping us first in mind and first in choice.
Roles and responsibilities are focused on the following:
Parts Sales (90%) – Responsible for parts sales and support for BeaconMedaes, LLC in assigned territory.
• Gaining new leads (proactive lead generation) and converting them into ongoing customers and sales by building lasting connections and relationships.
• Maintain strong relationships with the customer to sell additional parts in the future and answer any questions they may have.
• Assist customers in parts identification, troubleshooting, and order expedition via phone, and email.
• Handle incoming orders, including entry and maintaining/editing sales orders to meet customer demands.
• Provide regular updates as necessary to customers regarding orders, including delivery dates and/or any changes in the status of the order.
• Prospect “lost boys” over the phone and through email to proactively generate parts sales with existing customer base.
• Locating new sales opportunities with customers including cold calling and sales campaigns derived from data mining activities.
• Coordinate order releases, order receipts, and order shipments.
• Upsell part customers to aftermarket services.
Always maintain a professional image through personal actions and initiatives. Enhance division and Company reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the Company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.
Take whatever action is appropriate and required to get the job done and to establish and maintain communications with all people/employees relevant to this mission.
Personal Development (5%) – Update job knowledge (for both products and sales/marketing strategies and skills) by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; networking; and participating in professional organizations.
Reporting (5%) – Prepare reports as assigned relative to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against budget. Report on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity, including recommendations for product, service, pricing changes and evaluation of competitive developments.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills
- Must be able to work independently and have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must have proven business analytical skills.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities with flexibility, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Must be highly customer focused with the ability to work under pressure and to work by yourself without constant supervision.
- Must be willing to work overtime and a flexible schedule.
- Self-directed, positive attitude, organized.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to motivate others.
- Trustworthy, honest, and responsible.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Four-year degree in business or marketing or equivalent is a plus.
Experience
- 3- 5 years of relevant industrial sales experience, preferably in the medical gas industry
Work Schedule
- Applicants must be available to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in either the Central Time Zone or Pacific Time Zone.
