Business Controller R&D, Sickla

Your role

Atlas Copco Industrial Technique AB is searching for a Business Controller for our multinational Research and Development department in Sickla, 10 minutes from Central Stockholm.
 
The industry is going through big changes - the transformation to the smart and connected factory – and we are working closely with customers worldwide in this transformation. Join us and take a key role in our R&D department in this exciting phase of change. You will report to the Vice President R&D and be part of the R&D management team.
 
As an R&D Business Controller, you work closely with the R&D management team, supporting the business with insights and analysis of all costs related to R&D. You ensure that the right financial data is available at the right time and collaborate with other functions within the organization to ensure correct use and interpretation of data.
 
Main responsibilities:

• Ownership of R&D financial follow-up and performance reviews
• Collect financial data, consolidate, and generate forecasts for all R&D activities
• Do business case calculations and recommendations
• Proactively take initiatives to reach set financial goals
• Develop and execute processes in Antura, Power BI, and other ERP systems
• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting with KPIs and scorecards
• Act sparring partner for the R&D organization on financial matters
• Lead a small team for business support

You will need

• University degree in finance and accounting
• At least 6 years of experience in finance or a related analytical field
• Strong skills in Excel, including Power Query & Power Pivot, and SAP
• Experience working with large-scale data and BI tools (e.g., QlikView, QlikSense, Power BI)
• An analytical and numbers-oriented mindset and a structured approach
• Strong communication skills, creating trust and building a network in a complex organization

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Stockholm, Sweden (SE).
