Your future job

We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco in Sickla (Stockholm). This is a chance to play a vital role in maintaining and evolving industrial controller products – a key part of our product portfolio. These intelligent systems drive, monitor, and optimize our tools used across the globe, ensuring precision, safety, and connectivity in demanding industrial environments.

Your role

You work closely with our Technical Product Owner (TPO) to maintain and improve the quality, reliability, and manufacturability of our controllers. This role is a great fit if you have experience in electronics design and are ready to take a broader role coordinating development, investigating technical issues, and managing supplier collaborations.

As the main technical contact for a production partner, you identify redesign opportunities and support root cause analysis and continuous improvements. You collaborate across functions such as marketing, sourcing, quality, and production, to drive enhancements from concept to customer. This is a coordinating role, ensuring seamless communication and quick resolutions of production or quality issues.  With strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset, you build trust through clear communication and aren’t afraid to constructively challenge ideas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the design of existing controller products.
  • Act as the technical interface between Engineering and a key production site.
  • Collaborate with the TPO to implement updates, resolve technical issues, and assist with root cause analyses.
  • Identify redesign opportunities to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Contribute to cost-cutting initiatives and value engineering projects.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on continuous improvement, product quality, and customer satisfaction.

To succeed, you will need

  • Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience in industrial electronics design or production interface.
  • Solid communication skills and fluency in English.
  • A hands-on, collaborative approach with a proactive mindset.
  • Ideally you have worked with OrCAD or a similar electronic design CAD tool.

In return, we offer

At Atlas Copco, we value your work and who you are. We believe that the one closest to the problem is the one closest to the solution. We have a collaborative and supportive work environment embracing different perspectives. Our internal job market unlocks opportunities for you to explore and to develop new skills.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site in Stockholm, Sweden (SE).
