International Remuneration and Benefits department (IRB) is the Competence Center for Global Mobility and Compensation & Benefits in the Atlas Copco Group. IRB is responsible for the Group's Global Mobility policies and gives support to the business regarding international assignments, position classifications, remuneration structures and other processes linked to international mobile employees. We work in a decentralized organization where, for example, immigration and relocation are handled by stakeholders in the local organization. 

 

Right now, there's an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Global Mobility Specialist! You will have the opportunity to collaborate with HR teams all over the world and assist them in navigating through complex global mobility, cross-border compliance and global benefits such as retirement that come along with a globally mobile workforce.

 

Example of work tasks:

  • Advise on applicable Terms and Conditions and general advisory in respect of the interpretation of the Global Mobility policies
  • Providing and reviewing salary build-up calculations for international mobile employees to the recruiting managers and/or Vice Presidents Human Resources and advise on optimal proposal
  • Providing and reviewing contracts for international mobile employees and taking discussions on local adjustments if and when required
  • Advise on and administer global benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance and retirement plans
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on risks and consequences of global mobility, helping them understand and comply with tax regulations in multiple jurisdictions and addressing any tax challenges that may arise during international assignments
  • Provide training to internal stakeholders on items related to global mobility
  • Actively participate in projects, implementation of initiatives related to global mobility and other cross-border employment structures
  • Discuss with local Holding Vice Presidents and Holding Human Resources Managers on local policies and interpretations and local legislation that may affect the global mobility processes (contracts, immigration, tax formalities etc.)

We are looking for:

  • A university degree within law, human resources, business administration or a related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience managing global mobility within a multinational company.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to work effectively with both internal partners and external vendors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of international assignment policies, cross-border employment regulations, and relocation processes.
  • Ability to streamline and enhance global mobility operations through innovation and process improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of international tax legislation and compliance frameworks.
  • Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • A positive, solution-oriented mindset and a collaborative approach are essential to thrive in this role.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely up to 2 days per week and being on-site at our office in Sickla Stockholm, Sweden (SE) 3 days per week.
