The Role

In the role of the Product Owner, your principal responsibility is to deliver and maintain the Group Functions IT applications in line with Atlas Copco’s business needs while safeguarding system and data integrity for all our supported customers.

 

You may lead a highly motivated virtual, cross-regional team, delivering quality solutions for our customers. Your team will be a combination of internally assigned personnel and external service providers.

 

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Responsible for product portfolio positioning (vision, architecture, roadmap)
  • Align with business stakeholders in setting priorities and driving product projects
  • Develop and maintain product and technology roadmap
  • Establish product governance structure
  • Create Service Operating Model and define KPIs
  • Develop marketing and communication strategy
  • Solution Financial Management

 

Demand to Delivery

  • Responsible for designing, developing/acquiring, piloting, and delivering the Group Functions IT applications in line with Atlas Copco’s group business needs
  • Work closely with the function teams and business stakeholders to identify, evaluate and align core business needs
  • Prioritize development requests and ensure quality delivery
  • Define technical aspects, plan resources, and create exit criteria of POC/MVP
  • Monitor testing, plan product launch and ensure robust go-to-production procudure
  • Preapre for Service Readiness: unit price, charge model, governance body, documentation

 

Operation

  • Responsible for maintaining the Group Functions IT applications in line with Atlas Copco’s group business needs, leading technology solutions globally while safeguarding operational governance
  • Design and implement product support process, including documentation and procedures for 1st, 2nd  and 3rd level support
  • Oversee supplier management and delivery quality of the Managed Services; manage escalations in line with the delivery model.
  • Drive product adoption with support of regional delivery team
  • Monitor and improve product performance (incidents, requests, usability, CSI, etc.)
  • Improve customer experiences to enhance productivity
  • Supervise change management and release management; lead rollout of the product and new functions
  • Drive marketing, training and communication initiatives; manage business key users’ community
  • Ensure product compliance including access management, technical debt, and adherence to (local) regulations.
  • Perform cost analysis and financial control with Business Control's support
  • Implement Productized Way of Working

Experience Requirements

 

  • Several years of experience in IT applications, preferable in Financial domain
  • Involved in application development in a large, complex, multi-location organization
  • Experience with IT best practice/ITIL
  • Several years IT Service Management experience
  • Proven Project Management and Business Analysis capabilities

 

Technical Skills

  • Experienced with all aspects of business applications life cycle management 
  • Wide knowledge of general business process and practices related to the financial domain.
  • Knowledge in web development standards (.NET, JSP, J2EE, etc.) is a plus 

 

 

Educational Requirements

 

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Certification within ITIL (Foundation) is a benefit
