Trade Compliance Lead

What you'll do
In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our global supply chain complies with Sourcing related trade requirements. You'll work closely with colleagues across the entire business to develop processes, manage trade compliance projects, and support global sourcing decisions.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Monitoring and interpreting global trade legislation and sanctions

Developing and implementing trade compliance processes, standards, and contracts
-
Maintaining trade compliance metrics and KPI:s
-
Ensuring trade master data accuracy
-
Acting as a key contact in Global Sourcing for trade compliance across the business

Leading trade compliance projects and supporting implementation internally and towards external suppliers

Advising on trade-related risks and opportunities in sourcing and product development

Performing supplier screening for export control risks and ad hoc transaction checks

Supporting audits and scenario planning for geopolitical events

Educating sourcing professionals on trade compliance requirements
To suceed you’ll need
We're seeking a colleague who brings a high level of trade compliance expertise paired with a proactive and collaborative approach. You thrive in cross-functional, global environments and confidently lead trade compliance initiatives that translate trade compliance plans into tangible actions.
Qualifications and experience:

Experience in Supply Chain or Sourcing
-
Solid knowledge and experience of EU/US or other international customs and export control laws and regulations, including HS codes, ECCN and sanction classifications

Experience with risk analysis, policy development and geopolitical resilience planning

Project management experience in global, cross-functional teams

A genuine interest in global trade, macroeconomics, and supply chain strategy

A university degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc., in business, engineering, or law
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience with AI support tools

Job Location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our HQ in Sickla, Sweden.
