You will be responsible for driving the growth of our service offerings by engaging directly with end-users, OEM partners, and established service providers. Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager, engineering, and service product teams, you will implement strategic initiatives that support our commercial goals, foster strong customer relationships, and ensure consistent revenue expansion and service excellence within the region.
Short Description
The Sales Account Manager VTS plays a critical role in expanding Leybold's service solutions within the vacuum technique market. This position focuses on developing and delivering customized service packages that meet customer needs and driving sustained business growth through strategic partnerships and customer engagement.
Your day-to-day
- Proactively identify and secure new service business opportunities across Korea by engaging potential clients and presenting tailored service solutions.
Outcome: Increased new customer acquisition and market presence. - Expand business within existing Leybold service accounts by enhancing revenue streams, improving profit margins, and increasing market share.
Outcome: Strengthened customer loyalty and improved financial performance. - Manage and convert service and spare part inquiries into confirmed orders, ensuring efficient follow-up and high conversion rates.
Outcome: Optimized sales pipeline and increased order volume. - Implement regional service commercial strategies as defined by leadership, contributing to the launch of innovative service models.
Outcome: Elevated competitiveness and business optimization. - Gather and report comprehensive market intelligence to provide actionable insights on customer demands, competitor activities, and emerging trends.

Your skills and experience

Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial) or equivalent technical experience.
Professional Experience
- 3 to 5 years in service sales, technical sales, or related fields involving after-sales support.
- Strong record of managing service contracts, maintenance agreements, and spare parts sales.
- Experience across sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, display technologies, battery production, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, or industrial manufacturing is highly valued.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain customer accounts, focusing on maximizing retention and value.
Technical and Sales Skills
- In-depth or rapidly acquirable knowledge of vacuum pump products and related industrial equipment.
- Customer-oriented selling skills with a clear ability to communicate service value and negotiate effectively.
- Effective use of CRM and sales management tools to track opportunities and customer interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical teams and external partners.
- Analytical capability to interpret customer data and anticipate sales opportunities.
Language and Other Essential Qualifications
- Fluency in Korean and strong business-level English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commitment to professionalism, ethical behavior, and taking ownership of work responsibilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Korea frequently and occasionally internationally as required.
