Quality Engineer(Maternity leave cover - 1year contract)
R&R
- Maintain the quality of supplied parts to satisfy Presys production line.
- Make continuous improvement plan and action to enhance part quality and reduce DPPM, FTTFR.
- Have knowledge on the function of each part and understand the quality standard clearly to acquire the part quality required by Presys.
- Lead suppliers to be proactive on quality improvement actions with effective communication skill, and closely communicate with related Presys people to embed Presys’s requirements in each part.
- Understand various quality control tools and apply to part quality improvement.
- Attribute to the improvement, development of Presys products with qualified part quality compared to the benefit of quality improvement with cost for improvement to decide on the TCO point of view.
Education level
- Minimum bachelor’ degree in engineering or business management
Relevant Previous experience
- 4 Year Degree in Engineering or related field , 5+ years supplier quality experience
- Technical and Analytical skills necessary to understand manufacturing processes, support quality initiatives, execute root cause analysis, coach suppliers in performance
- Improvement, understand product technical specifications, conduct supplier evaluation.
- Understand commercial and customer strategies in order to provide data to support commercialization
- Supplier management experience highly desired

Skill
- Quality control tools such as 8D, QRQC, SPC, etc.
- PPAP system (Production Part Approval Process system)
- Supplier quality guidance and continuous improvement
- Supplier assessment and audit
