Atlas Copco Specialty Rental is a division within Atlas Copco’s Power Technique business area. It serves customers in all industry segments around the world with temporary air, power, flow, steam and nitrogen rental solutions.

 

Role:

As the Rental Operational Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring best practices and consistency in operations across our branch network. Your focus will be on maintaining high levels of safety, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement. Collaborating closely with the Service Manager, you will ensure the availability of safe and reliable equipment to meet the needs of our customers.

 

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate with team to ensure professional rental operations and sales activities, fostering positive customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively promote and support a high-level safety culture within the organization.
  • Provide support for customer sales and hire inquiries, including customer visits and quotations when required.
  • Maintain professional relationships with vendors and transport companies to ensure prompt and efficient services.
  • Work with branches to meet objectives and KPIs related to safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Develop and motivate staff through training and management to ensure a highly competent team.
  • Review and manage branch property needs, including potential relocations.
  • Ensure completion and recording of routine maintenance and statutory inspections.
  • Assist branches in audit preparation and completion.
  • Identify and develop high-potential employees.

 

What we expect from you:

  • Experience in rental or similar industries requiring high levels of customer coordination.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Current knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Good awareness of regulatory requirements in operating an industrial business.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to innovate.
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Forklift license and driver's license.
