Your role

The mission of a Process Improvement Engineer is to drive Lean culture and continuous improvement across Production, Warehouse, and Intralogistics by eliminating waste, optimizing flow, standardizing processes, and improving operational performance in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Sustainability. Lead and facilitate Lean and process improvement initiatives that improve material flow, productivity, efficiency, and customer value. Support the factory in achieving strategic and operational goals through data-driven analysis, problem solving, and sustainable improvement activities. Acts as a Lean change agent by promoting a culture of continuous improvement, coaching teams in Lean methodologies, driving waste elimination, and ensuring sustainable operational excellence through standardization, problem solving, and performance management. This position enables us to continue our sustainable profitable growth mission through operation KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost). 

 

Main responsibilities: 

• Drive Lean transformation and continuous improvement activities across the factory.
• Analyze production, warehouse, and material flows to identify waste and improvement opportunities.
• Lead Kaizen events and cross-functional improvement projects.
• Apply Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban, SMED, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Develop business cases and support investment decisions related to operational excellence.
• Monitor and improve KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, and Inventory.
• Develop training materials and coach teams in Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies.
• Establish and maintain process standards and support compliance with the Integrated Management System.• Co-operation with the factory’s department and with the external participants of the supply chain

To succeed, you will need

The ideal candidate has a degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field, at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics or process improvement, strong Lean and Continuous Improvement knowledge, intermediate English skills, advanced MS Office (Excel) proficiency, and a proactive, analytical, results-oriented mindset with excellent communication, change management, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Lean Six Sigma, SAP WM/EWM, Power BI, and project management is an advantage. The ideal candidate is a native Hungarian speaker and speaking fluently in English.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our manufacture in Szigetszentmiklós, Hungary (HU).
