Atlas Copco Hungary (Szigetszentmiklós) is looking for new colleague in Tactical Buyer position. As a Tactical buyer you will be a member of the global, category managed, sourcing team and represent the sourcing function in our strategic supplier transfers following the supplier selection process with the mission to optimize the QDCP-values (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Product development) from our external suppliers.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • In cooperation with the Strategic Category Buyer or Category Team Leader secure and manage that transfers are performed according to KPI targets and deadlines
  • Manage phase out at old suppliers and phase in, ramp up at new suppliers
  • Stock management, make sure stock is sufficient to cover transfer period and afterwards
  • Make sure new suppliers understand our Logistics requirement, train and guide them until they are able to supply acc to our expectations and Atlas Copco rules
  • Proactively monitor new suppliers performance, development until they can be handed over to the call-off
  • Identify supply deviations, classify problems in an early stage and start activities for further analyses and improvements
  • Issue first sample orders and follow up till first serial order is issued and confirmed
  • Supplier will be handed over to the call-off once first serial order is issued, confirmed and no risk of supply issue is foreseen
  • Monitor new suppliers performance after the hand over to the call-offs as well
  • Manage suppliers, including to issue orders, update call-off reports
  • Provide exact delivery information to the planners, follow and monitor open orders, proactively act in case of supply issue

Weekly follow up meetings with Logistics – frame and conditions to be set.

 

What is essential you to have?

 

  • College/university degree
  • Experience in administration
  • Intermediate level of English. Any other lanuguages are a plus.
  • Strong computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel, SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Team player
  • Exactness in work
  • Extremely high consciousness of quality work
  • Support oif modern technologies
  • Some internal & external travel required, also internationally (mainly Sweden).
