Field Service Engineer

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with advanced technical systems in the Specialty Rental sector in central region (Taichung) . As a Field Service Engineer, you will engage directly with customers, delivering tailored maintenance, repair, and installation services. You will leverage your technical expertise to deliver exceptional on-site service, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and without interruption. Reporting directly to the Team Leader within the Service team, you will be an essential part of our commitment to outstanding customer support and operational excellence.

Your day-to-day

• Perform planned inspections and reactive repairs to diagnose and resolve technical issues swiftly, minimizing downtime.
• Install new equipment ensuring full compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
• Document all service activities accurately and provide clear recommendations to customers for ongoing maintenance.
• Serve as a trusted on-site advisor, addressing customer queries and ensuring excellent service quality.
• Maintain effective communication with the team and coordinate service schedules to optimize support coverage across the assigned region.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in technical maintenance or field service engineering roles is highly desirable.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex equipment efficiently.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude, with a commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with customers and team members alike.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area to meet customer needs on-site.

Your location

1. You will be based in central region (Taichung city)  within the Specialty Rental Division, forming part of a dynamic field service team.
2. This position requires regular travel to customer sites across your designated area, providing hands-on support and fostering strong client relationships.
