Key Responsibilities:
1. SHEQ System Management
• Establish, implement, document, and maintain the integrated SHEQ management system aligned with ISO standards and CTBA policies.
• Ensure all SHEQ procedures, policies, manuals, and documentation are up to date, compliant, and effectively implemented across the organization.
2. Compliance and Risk Management
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate SHEQ requirements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate SHEQ risks through systematic risk assessments and audits.
• Manage reporting and investigation of incidents, near misses, and non-conformities, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions.
3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Develop KPIs for SHEQ performance and regularly report to the General Manager and senior leadership.
• Conduct trend analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend strategic actions.
4. Policy and Strategic Development
• Formulate and drive the execution of SHEQ policies, goals, and strategies in line with CTBA’s vision and values.
• Lead periodic management reviews to evaluate system effectiveness and alignment with business objectives.
5. Training and Capacity Building
• Develop and deliver SHEQ training programs to increase awareness, responsibility, and competency at all levels of the organization.
• Promote a proactive SHEQ culture and serve as a role model for safety and quality excellence.
6. Stakeholder and Contractor Engagement
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, industry groups, clients, and contractors to ensure SHEQ requirements are understood and met.
• Review and approve SHEQ plans of subcontractors and monitor their performance.
7. Audit and Continuous Improvement
• Plan, lead, and participate in internal and external audits.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through audits, feedback, benchmarking, and innovation.
8. Environmental and Sustainability Oversight
• Develop environmental programs and initiatives supporting sustainability and resource efficiency.
• Monitor environmental performance and ensure the organization meets its environmental targets and commitments.
9. Facility Management
• Oversee the management and maintenance of company facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.
• Coordinate building maintenance, utilities, equipment servicing, and infrastructure improvements.
• Ensure that workplace conditions support health, safety, and operational productivity.
• Manage facility-related vendors, contracts, and budgets.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in SHEQ roles, including supervisory or management level.
• Certified knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Strong knowledge of national/international SHEQ laws and regulations.
• Experience in developing and implementing integrated management systems.
