Are you ready to take on a leadership role where people, planning and production flow come together? At Tierp Works, we are looking for a manager who wants to lead a skilled team, create clarity in a business-critical flow and help secure reliable deliveries to our customers.
In this role, you will lead Operational Purchasing and Production Planning, helping translate market needs into realistic production plans and secure component availability for assembly. It is a role for someone who enjoys combining people leadership with operational responsibility and cross-functional impact.
Your role
As Manager Operational Purchasing and Production Planning, you will lead a team of approximately 10 people, including team leaders in both areas. Your mission is to create clarity, focus and stability in a business-critical flow while continuing to develop how we work.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Lead, coach and develop the Operational Purchasing and Production Planning team.
- Secure reliable material flow, realistic production plans and clear prioritisation.
- Balance market needs, production feasibility, capacity and supplier realities.
- Collaborate closely with production, logistics, sourcing, market-facing functions and the Logistics management team.
To succeed, you will need
We are looking for a leader who brings direction, trust and accountability, with enough operational depth to understand planning, purchasing and production trade-offs.
We believe you bring:
- Proven people leadership experience and a clear, coaching leadership style.
- Relevant operational experience from manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, purchasing or production planning.
- Ability to lead through change, prioritise effectively and create stability.
- Analytical and collaborative skills, with the ability to turn insights into practical action.
- A university degree within logistics, supply chain or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
Experience from Sales and Operations Planning, Sales and Operations Execution, logistics, management team work or similar planning processes is an advantage.
