Financial Controller

Your role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Controller for Eco Steam and Heating Solutions, a Rental company based in Tilburg, the Netherlands, part of the Atlas Copco Specialty Rental division in Europe.

The Financial Controller will assist the Operation Business Unit Manager locally and indirectly the European Business Controller in the leadership of financial management of the legal entity, strategic planning, return on investment, digital initiatives, ERP roll-out and financial integration of the companies in Atlas Copco.

This role is also responsible for the preparation of accounting, reporting, budgeting, data analysis, tax planning, as part of the standard financial operations.

• • Manage the daily financial operations of the companies, such as working capital and treasury
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and disclosures
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards of the country
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting to the group
  • Be on top of all tax aspects such as payment and declaration
  • Dedicated focus on hire fleet reconciliation
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Pursue automation and efficiency in accounting and internal control compliances
  • Partner with the Management team to provide financial insight to assist with business growth
  • Actively participate in business review meetings, expectancy, and budget exercises
  • Become a finance key user in the new ERP roll-out
  • Continue actions to integrate the company into the group standards
  • Controlling the monthly salary calculations, including social security, pensio

Experience and Educational Requirements

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting in general and knowledge of Dutch financial reporting & tax
• Experience in project management and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong focus on organization changes management
• Able to analyze and solve issues with a solution-oriented approach
• Prior integration experience is a plus
• Prior knowledge of Wynne, BPCS or SAP is a plus
• Resilient and able to work under pressure to reach project goals and milestones
• Solid leadership and communication skills
• Good command of English is a must as well as Dutch
• Bachelor or university degree
