The Role

SAP Competence Center (SCC) Mission

  • SCC ensures that all customer centers, distribution centers and product companies in the different countries can rely on a legally compliant, performant, stable and well supported business application
  • SCC secures efficient end to end processes governed by business councils. Together with these business councils, it will steer the digital roadmap of the customer centers, Distribution Centers and Production Plants and will make sure to realize this roadmap according to the right quality and cost.
  • SCC enables efficient and effective integrations to support the reorganizations, mergers & acquisitions roadmaps of the business areas in a standardized group solution
  • SCC delivers solutions which enable innovation
  • SAP competence and global implementation experience (first in mind, first in choice) within the Group

 

The mission of this position is to assist the SAP Customer Center operations team for the Production and engineering stream (SAP PP and SAP PS). The position is reporting to the SAP Competence Center Operations Team lead Production.

 

This Operations Team is part of the SAP Competence Center and responsible for supporting the different SAP platforms together with their eco-systems after go-live / hand-over to operations. Day-to-day activities are carried out by an external partner, while the internal core team (of which this position is part of) is focusing on service supervision, escalation management, quality assurance, setting direction for continuous improvement and increasing the overall end-to-end process knowledge.

Your main responsibilities and activities will be:

  • 3rd Level Incident and Problem management: resolution, root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Bug fix management: root cause analysis, consistency checks on solution proposals, testing and documentation
  • Maintain key-user community with regular meetings and training sessions
  • Be the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for our local customers within your region
  • Support production team to achieve optimal usage of systems and processes
  • Collaborate with the external AMS support partners to ensure proper support delivery
  • Collaborate with the template organization, development and roll-out team and BPX Community.
  • Collaborate with other streams within operations teams of the SAP competence center
  • Participation in internal projects, requiring limited travelling domestically and internationally
  • Keep internal customer satisfaction at a high level by maintaining close customer relations and safeguarding the right level of quality in support service delivery

 

 

Knowledge

  • Expert level knowledge SAP PP and SAP PS module, knowledge of all related modules is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP production planning and project system processes and the integration with finance, logistics, and service.
  • Ability to read and analyse ABAP programs and overall good understanding of the SAP
       technical application layer is a big plus.
  • PC literate: Good knowledge of MS Office, teams, JIRA, ….
  • Fluency in English is a must. Knowing additional languages is a plus point

 

 

Experience

  • Deep functional knowledge of SAP PP:
    • Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routing)
    • MRP (Material Requirements Planning)
    • Production Orders and Execution
    • Capacity Planning and Scheduling
    • Integration with QM module
    • Variant Configuration
  • Strong expertise in SAP PS:
    • Project structuring (WBS, Networks, Activities)
    • Planning and Budgeting
    • Cost tracking and settlement
    • Strong Integration with FI/CO, SD and MM
  • Minimum 5 years in a functional analyst or consultant role, ideally with support experience
  • Must have worked with multinational companies with exposure to diverse and multi-cultural environments
  • Overall understanding of end-to-end logistics business processes used in manufacturing plant, distributions centers and customer centers.
  • very good knowledge of integration points of logistics processes.

 

Education requirements

University degree in one of the related areas or equivalent experience required.
