Applications Engineer (VIN-CC Japan)
Your role
As an Applications Engineer (VIN-CC Japan) within the Vacuum Technique business area at Edwards Japan Ltd, your core mission is to deliver expert technical support and customized solutions to our clients. Reporting directly to the Hiring Manager of the Edwards Japan - CC department, you will act as a vital link between our cutting-edge semi chamber solutions and customer needs.
In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive technical consultation and application support for customers using advanced vacuum technologies.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and tailor solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
- Conduct product demonstrations, trainings, and technical presentations to showcase the value and functionalities of Edwards’ innovations.
- Support new product development initiatives by providing market feedback and application insights from frontline customer interactions.
- Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Your role is pivotal in enhancing customer satisfaction and driving growth by bridging engineering expertise with business goals.
To succeed, you will need

3 - 5 years of experience working as an applications engineer or in a similar technical sales-support role.
- Strong knowledge of vacuum technology principles and applications.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
- Proficiency in Japanese and English is preferred to manage local and international interactions.
- Familiarity with sales processes and CRM tools is an advantage.
