Applications Engineer/Regional Product Manager
Your role
As an Applications Engineer/Regional Product Manager within the Vacuum Technique business area at Edwards Japan Ltd, your core mission is to act as a bridge between customer requirements and product development. Reporting directly to the department head of Edwards Japan - CC, you will harness your technical expertise to provide tailored application solutions while driving product strategy across your regional footprint.
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate market insights and customer feedback into actionable product enhancements.
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance during customer engagements, ensuring solutions align with both technical and commercial objectives.
- Drive regional product marketing strategies, including competitive analysis, pricing, and launch plans, to maximize market penetration and growth.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training resources for internal teams and customers to promote product knowledge and enhance user experience.
Your contributions will be critical to advancing Edwards Japan's position as a leader in vacuum technology solutions.

You bring 3 to 5 years of proven experience in applications engineering or product management within industrial or vacuum technology sectors.
- Strong technical knowledge of vacuum systems and related components.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in product lifecycle management and market analysis is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English and Japanese languages is preferred to navigate regional markets successfully.
