Applications Team Leader
Your role
As the Applications Team Leader within the Semi Chamber Solutions Division at Edwards Japan Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Vacuum Technique business area. Reporting directly to the Department Manager of Edwards Japan - CC, you will be responsible for leading a skilled team focused on delivering innovative application solutions and technical expertise to our customers. Your mission will be to ensure excellence in application support, foster strong customer relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of our business segment.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the applications team to enhance technical capabilities and improve service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with sales, product development, and engineering teams to tailor vacuum solutions that meet customer requirements and drive market success.
- Manage complex customer projects, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of technical challenges and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Develop application methodologies and best practices that align with company standards and industry trends to support continuous improvement.
- Drive cross-functional communication to ensure alignment between customer needs and internal capabilities, facilitating innovation and operational excellence.

Ideal candidates will have 5 to 8 years of experience in vacuum applications or related technical roles.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams.
- Deep technical knowledge of vacuum technologies and applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, preferably in English and Japanese.
- Experience with project management or customer-facing technical roles is a plus.
